Paytm app receives 3D Touch support for iPhone 6S & 6S Plus

Mobile commerce platform Paytm has released an updated version of its app for the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus. The application supports the feature named the stellar 3D Touch which is one of the most prominent upgrades in the highly anticipated devices from Apple. With 3D Touch, users can do a much more from the Paytm app icon itself, enhancing one’s propensity to make more cashless transactions quicker and with higher convenience.

By tapping the Paytm icon on the home screen, a variety of options came up such as mobile recharge, track your order ,Paytm wallet and search. It also reveals the Paytm Wallet balance in one single touch. This provides users the facility to do transactions directly from their home screen without actually opening & accessing the application.

Rahul Saini, head of product design said, “The 3D Touch feature on the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus screen enables the extremely useful and appealing ‘Pop and Peek’ function for apps. We take a decision to leverage the ease and smooth usability of this option by unveiling the new app version for Paytm. The 3D Touch support will certainly change the stickiness of the app which will lead to greater propensity among-st users to turn to Paytm for making a whole host of quick payments and transactions .”

The new iPhone 6s & iPhone 6s Plus – have climbed Indian shores today. The iPhone 6s is available in 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants at Rs 62,000, Rs 72,000 and Rs 82,000, respectively. The 6s Plus 16GB, 64GB and 128GB models are valued at 72,000,Rs 82,000 and Rs 92,000, respectively.
